Our Story

A passion passed down
generation to generation

We were born into the forest. Long before we understood what a truffle was worth, we were following our grandparents through the oak and hazel woods of Busso, watching their dogs work the earth, learning the silence that means something is close.

Today Molise Truffle Farm is that same family, three generations deep. We harvest from our private truffle grounds, buy from trusted local hunters nearby, and transform everything fresh in our own laboratory. No middlemen. No compromises on raw material.

No motorways. No airports. No heavy industry. The Molise is one of Italy's smallest, least-populated regions — and that isolation is precisely what makes its truffles extraordinary. Air quality consistently meets national standards with values far below industrial areas. The soils are untreated, the forests uninterrupted.

Our calendar never stops. The truffle season in Molise runs continuously from autumn through spring, with different species taking turns. We harvest at the right moment — never before, never after.

White Truffle
Tuber magnatum Pico
The most prized truffle in the world. Intense, complex aroma. Molise produces roughly 60% of Italy's national supply. Sold fresh and processed at peak ripeness.
Nov — Mar
Black Truffle
Tuber melanosporum Vitt.
The Périgord black truffle. Deep, earthy and persistent aroma. A pillar of international haute cuisine and our most versatile ingredient for transformation.

Bianchetto
Tuber borchii Vitt.
Smaller and more pungent than its white cousin. Delivers extraordinary intensity in processed products, sauces, and infused oils.
